DECATUR COUNTY CONSERVATION -- COVID-19 UPDATE:
Essential duties will continue. Office is closed to the public. All programs and activities are cancelled indefinitely. Staff travel to meetings/training's are suspended until further notice. All pit vault toilets at Little River and Slip Bluff will be CLOSED until further notice due to COVID-19 and concerns for our park users and employees.
In an effort to protect our park users and employees during this Coronavirus crisis, the Decatur County Conservation Board has decided to delay opening its shower houses at Slip Bluff and Little River until April 30th. Campgrounds, cabins, playgrounds, shower houses, the beach, and the Little River Bait Shop are CLOSED until April 30th. We will also stop taking additional cabin reservations for the month of April. Cabins can still be reserved for the rest of the summer.
Boat ramps and hiking trails are still OPEN. The conservation board encourages everyone to come out and enjoy the parks and get some fresh air.
We will update this page as much as possible, but please also keep an eye on our Facebook page for any more updates or changes.
